ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW

If you were not at The Rialto for these midnight shows, you missed the party of the weekend! We had a phenomenal turnout - fans of all ages showed up for the midnight screenings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Some knew EXACTLY what to expect, others were a bit surprised by the film, and the participation. We even had people “dressed” for the occasion - and we loved every minute of it. Big thanks to our patron who came in as “Columbia” who entertained us with her audience participation version of the film, and her antics in both “The Time Warp” and “Whatever Happened To Saturday Night”.

Impromptu performances by the theatre staff and “Columbia” included a live version of “The Time Warp”, with instructions done by our own “Criminologist” Joe. “Riff Raff” Steve and “Magenta” Tonya broke out into song, as well as “Columbia” who also graced us with her live tap dance in sync with the film. “Eddie” Dave came in and sang, played air saxophone and even got chased on Saturday night by a patron “dressed” as Dr. Frank-N-Furter.

Several guests remembered to bring props and we even saw “alternate” scripts being used, although Columbia was right on her game, reciting the lines as we remember them from when we last saw the film in a theatre...back in the day.

Your enthusiasm, participation and enjoyment made this weekend a true pleasure to bring you our unrehearsed version of the film. We hope you will join us again...REAL SOON!
